چکیده

Identifying immunocompromised women who are at risk of developing cervical cancer remains a challenge for clinicians. In an effort to identify the role HIV in carcinogenesis, this study evaluated levels normally downregulated oncomirs (miR-21, miR-146a, miR-155, miR-182, and miR-200c) upregulated tumor suppressors (miR-let-7b, miR-125b, miR-143, miR-145, p53 expression) associated with serum living (HIV+) without (HIV. Method: This case-control included 173 women; confirmed HIV+ (n = 103) HIV− 70). Serum miRNAs were determined using reverse transcriptase PCR. t-test Pearson’s correlation analyses carried out on generated data. Result: A higher level miR-21 was observed among compared their counterpart (p 0.028), whereas lower miR-125, gene p 0.050 0.049, respectively. Significant direct relationships between other < 0.05) women. Conclusion: revealed that contributes carcinogenesis by modulating circulating miR-21, p53, miR-125b. It suggests these biomarkers could be used high cancer.

Effect of narrow-band ultraviolet B phototherapy on p63 and microRNA (miR-21 and miR-125b) expression in psoriatic epidermis.

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease in which dysregulation of p63, a member of the p53 family that is crucial for skin development and maintenance, has been demonstrated. Involvement of miR-203, miR-21 and miR-125b, small non-coding RNAs implicated in the regulation of p63 or p53, has been suggested in the patho-genesis of psoriasis. To elucidate the roles of p63 and p63-related microRNAs...

Effect of Estradiol on miR-21; miR-155 Expression in promyelocytic leukemia-derived cell line NB4

Background: Due to the estrogen participation in modulating the proliferation and commitment of stem cells and the effects of miR-21 and miR-155 expression on reduced proliferation and colony formation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), the aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of estradiol on expression of miR-21 and miR-155 in the NB4 cell line, as an acute promyelocytic leukemia ...

Serum miR-21, miR-29a, and miR-125b Are Promising Biomarkers for the Early Detection of Colorectal Neoplasia.

PURPOSE Circulating microRNAs (miRNA) are emerging as promising diagnostic biomarkers for colorectal cancer, but their usefulness for detecting early colorectal neoplasms remains unclear. This study aimed to identify serum miRNA biomarkers for the identification of patients with early colorectal neoplasms. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN A cohort of 237 serum samples from 160 patients with early colorect...

Diagnostic value of miR-30d-5p and miR-125b-5p in acute myocardial infarction

Rapid and accurate differential diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is crucial for timely interventions and the improvement of prognosis. However, this is difficult to achieve using current methods. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate the suitability of circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) as AMI biomarkers in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). miRNA profiling in plasm...

State of the art in circulating miR-95 as a new candidate for diagnostic in Human Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Backgrounds: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have crucial roles in cellular and molecular processes related to different malignancies including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). In recent years the most studies demonstrated that the expression of miR-95, alter in several diseases. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) a heterogeneous group of non-coding and regulatory RNAs. The present study investigated the as...
